Optical shows coming soon

Get up to date with the latest developments in eyecare and fashion while networking with fellow eyecare professionals, makers and suppliers at the host of optical trade fairs coming up early in 2024.

Opti Munich

Opti features hubs devoted to myopia and sustainability, plus a new trend hub and awards ceremonies. The focus in 2024 will be on knowledge transfer, discussion and exchange formats as well as topic-specific networking touchpoints.

Use connectopti and follow optitopics for the issues and suppliers that interest you and to receive personal recommendations for your visit. A networking tool lets you see who is attending, which events they are participating in and who is interested in which subjects.

Optikmassan Stockholm

Organisers say this is the largest optical trade fair in northern Europe, hosting a variety of suppliers and manufacturers. The clinical side will present new technologies and tools, with a focus on myopia management, dry eyes and digital eye strain.

A fashion show will present the latest trends and you can find more inspiration and information, including about social media and marketing platforms, throughout the show. The seminar programme covers everything from OCT to communicating with patients about myopia and much more.

MIDO Milan

Last years’ MIDO drew 1,000 exhibitors and 2024 promises to be even bigger. Companies from Germany, France, Austria, Spain, Denmark, the USA and UK, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Turkey and even Mauritius were on show in 2023 – find an up to date list for next year here https://www.mido.com/en/exhibitor-list

MIDO boasts that it is the only place to find all the players in the supply chain: from frame and lens manufacturers to machinery and raw materials; large multinationals to small innovative companies; from well-known or emerging designers to start-ups and accessories.

100% Optical, London

The show attracts over 10,000 optical professionals from across the globe. The Love Eyewear awards feature independent and major designers, manufacturers, and retailers.

Lectures from the main stage will cover everything from scleral lenses to the role of smartphones, digital displays and telecommunications. Key themes for the education programme include myopia, collaborative working, and artificial intelligence.

CPD-accredited content has been curated by the Association of Optometrists, with seminars and workshops featuring myopia management, patient retention, contact lens selection and more.

ExpÓptica Madrid

The fair showcases the latest advances in the world of optics, optometry and audiology, from fashion to the latest advances in optics. It is held in parallel with OPTOM, the 26th International Congress of Optometry, Contactology and Ophthalmic Optics, organised by the General Council of the Opticians-Optometrists Association.

It offers a detailed view of the market, outlining key trends and innovations and meetings with experts and suppliers. A programme of scientific and technological training gives delegates the chance to update their education.
